RandLAN Game Roundup (#9)
Game: Sins of a Solar Empire - Entrenchment v1.03 (Subject to Change)

                                                     <=====^ NOTICE ^=====>
                         You WILL need a legitimate CD key for the games' activation, including
                         internet, so you will need to have it bought it (the game is cheap, only the
                         expansion (Entrenchment is needed, though updating can apparently be a
                         bitch without legit original) via the main site;
                         http://www.sinsofasolarempire.com/store.aspx - they send you an email
                         with the CD key. You can download via Impulse or get the files at the
                         LAN. I've been informed that we MIGHT have access to the internet at the
                         LAN, but it will only be for minor things such as Steam/Impulse usage, nothing
                         much else. Game is worth it. If anyone else has a way around this, please let
                         Avarice, Stubbers or myself know.

Time: Game is expected to go for multiple hours, 3hrs+ (will be breaks of excess up to 1-3hours
        for rest, different games etc).
        We do hope to start the game before 4pm, as it could very well last until midnight.

Players: Currently thinking of;
           1) teams of 2 players (locked teams), with at least three teams all up
           2) teams of 3 players (locked teams), with at least two teams all up
           3) free for all (unlocked teams), where you can make alliances with anyone you wish, just
               make sure you watch your back okay?
           4) free for all (locked teams), every man, woman and child for themselves.

Prizes: This is more of a player organization than a contest, so no prizes.

Misc: Size of map is up for debait (how many planets/systems etc), the bigger the map the longer the game will go for, naturally. It is possible -

         - if someone has to leave the game for any reason, that they can be replaced by another
           person so the game can continue as normal
           (nothing will change other than the brain behind a fleet).

All players MUST be DEDICATED players willing and able to play the game through to the end, drop-outs "cause he killed my fleet" are not acceptable unless we have a willing replacement, if you must, just walk away or alt-tab ^^. Don't bother joining if you're leaving a few hours after game start, as said this game can last many hours and we probably wont be able to replace many people if any...  We understand that there will be people new to this game, and therefore are able to give any assistance to those who request it, preferably ask before we start the main game, we recommend to complete all the tutorials as they will help you understand and adapt to this game-play type faster.

Opinions and Suggestions are welcome, questions will be answered to our fullest capacity.

If I can make it im in.
But, unless we start it early I don't think id be able to stay the whole time...

I don't think we should play on a huge  map, no matter the numbers.. As that could take 10 hours+, and while the good players would be able to endure that... the other players I don't think would be able to.
Large map at most, with 3 different systems.

And what time would we start the comp at?
I'd probably appreciate it being around 6 to 7, that is if I come.
I don't stop.
I won't stop.
I will never stop until I hear the crack.

We can/probably will be 'pausing' gameplay every couple of hours for breaks and to participate in any other games that may be going.
For those who dont know, sins has an autosave that hits every 15mins, as well as easy save/continue functions so we can continue playing in a few minutes after a couple hours of break time.

I was hoping that we could start earlier than that, 4pm'ish since they game will possibly run for more than a few hours and we dont want ppl falling asleep during the game once we hit midnight or further..

Just the expansion, though updating the game apparently can be a bitch without legit base game. Though every LAN I will have the latest version so you can just pick it up from me if required.
