Luke - as a rule they come in 2 teams. Technically you'd just need to get 3 or 4 sets of the 2 team ones and it would work. Crusader has the right idea though, looking forward to seeing what you guys come up with.

stop the fail this plan was a flop from the beginning, buying a cheapset from where-ever will not work you cant modify them the only mod i can think of that will work is make it so they make no noise and thats rip teh speaker off. modifying them for longer range etc not gonna work unless you plan on gettin a degree in electronics and replacing chips.... resistors, pwr suppply..... mebe some other stuff

anyway, the newer ones tend to have half decent range these days anyway
it was the ones from 98/99 that had teh epic fail range
