TEC (Traders Emergency Coalition) = Economic whores *coolest lookin' ships*   (BETA RACE)
Advent = Kinda like Aeon in supcom, mainly deal with Culture spreading rate (one second ur planet is fine, next its suddenly netrual to everything BUT u cant colonize it :S)
Vasari = Military Power House, mid game phase tunnels (1planet to any other planet) late game shite loads of free ships *low-mid level ships, no supports no capitals included w/ free ships (Returning Armada ability)*

More or less its take ur pick, choose what u play best as. If used correctly, they r even races able to counter eachothers abilitys.
