Well considering that by the LAN there should be new versus maps for L4D, and patches getting rid of exploits etc, I'm sure everyone would want to play it and the ppl that can WILL be, end of story.
Mussels says that we might be able to update the other version for you cheap bastards using the other steam (once he gets the updated files off someone, probably me) so both other scum and good ppl can play.
I'm not against othering (since ava so bluntly pointed out in a msn convo), it's just when a game WORTH buying comes out, then fails (not being updated, shitty online, shit servers, no expansions or 'seconds' etc) due to poor sales, don't go blaming the companies - blame yourselves.
ANYWAY, hopefully the full version of DoW2 is out by LAN (not guaranteed), it's suppose to come out in feb sometime and if you were a fan of DoW1 and/or CoH and you get this in another way instead of buying or receiving as a gift, you should be shot on site (I still say just buy it outright, no need to get it another way to try, if it's not out by next LAN I might let some ppl try it out on my rig assuming steam will allow it), I've been playing the Multi beta for the last few days and yes it IS worth buying. Great fun.
Also ran into a new Stargate Mod for HL2 (will require Steam and a Valve game(HL2/CSS/TF2 etc) to play unless the other steam gets it working), it's only in beta stages atm though it is a good, fun game. I've played enough of it to learn of the ways that fags play and will possibly not bother if ppl at LAN do the same, it might be fun for you but it ain't for everyone else so please don't do it. Game still has a few bugs which are suppose to be fixed in the next patch which isn't far away, probably out before next LAN (broken spawns, random crashes effecting everyone/most ingame etc).
Also just for the lulz, I suggest CS:S, Day of Defeat Source, and maybe even some HL2 Deathmatch
And Clangers, yell at Michael to post stuff.
