What GRaphics card to get

when i get the money to buy my new pc i will need a graphics card. i like would like to go Nvidia and i was wondering which card would do the job fine last for a while playing games without lag issues (doesnt have to be highest graphics)

all depends what your budget is if you have a look on here http://www.pccasegear.com/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=193 theres a large selection ranging from low end PoS cards to the really expensice shit but i would suggest the lowest you go if you want Nvidia would be a GTS250-GTX260

i was thinking that but there is a pre built system for sale on centrecom.com that has a 9400gt 512mb would that do or would i need an upgrade

No a 9400 will not do, you'll need something better than that.

I think it is only a Re branded 9800GT witch is a Re branded 8800GT
But I need to check this but I don't think it was the 9800GTX but that card was just a re branded 8800GTS 512 lol

If your doing a GFX card upgrade and your planning on going NVidia you want at least a GTX275
