I Just plan on getting a Technet Subscription
Costs as much as one copy of windows but gets me all Microsoft products

I don't care for either of them either.
Its more about bragging rights.
64-bit Windows 7 Ultimate. Sounds delicious.
Don't get me wrong, id settle for any Win7 version. =P

Yes win 7 is Awesome
More so when you have 2 screens
BTW i am running win 7 x64 Pro

Wow Win 7 Pro and Ultimate have $10 difference in price on PC Case Gear

Haha well its xmas.
So there goes a heap of my money.
Also, I skid ordered a $150 1.5 TB HDD for me and it arrived so I need money for that.
And saving money for Crusaders 4890. I actually have very little idea how much money I have.
Which in turn begs the question.. Why pay $400 for it when it'll be free... eventually. =o

Also i asked PCCG about win7 OEM
This is the response i got
"The only way to legitimately purchase Microsoft OEM software is preinstalled on a system or if you are an OEM partner /  certified system builder. The older rules for XP were if it was purchased with core component hardware, these rules no longer apply to Vista or Win7 software."

That might clear up what oem is for anyone that does not know

But yeah Microsoft love overcharging for their products
