What games do you want to play?
I know what you are thinking, but I have a 13 inch macbook pro that runs COD: World at War everything on high at 50fps. If you're not looking for an apple product there's a samsung equivalent for $1200 with the same graphics card with a 16 or 17 inch screen, my friend has one I can get the product number if you want.

I like the look of the ASUS one but should be noted that it will be heavy and probably have a battery like of about 10min lol
Make sure you get the one with the 5870 (or 2 i think it can do crossfire) and it will beat at least half the computers at the LAN

I hate Apple in every way so i won't talk about that
The Samsung might be interesting just tell us what GPU it has
Also Cod4 is a old game to compare with

yes i dislike Apple incredibly to.

and the asus i dnt mind how much battery life it has because it will most likely be off the ac adapter at all.

and the games well it doesnt have to be on max but i would like bc2 and some games that are yet to be released.

ohh and another question have any of you orderd off this site b4 http://www.logicalblueone.com.au/store/index.php because it is quite cheap.

Just get a kickass desktop, laptop gaming is meh at best.

Either way, I'd say the M15x since 17" laptops are far too big to be as "mobile" as they're suppose to be.
