PCCASEGEAR has intels latest chip up... its the core i3 at first look it seems to just be a dual core version of an i5 chip. the cheapest i3 runs at 2.93ghz with a 4mb cache for $172 compared to the intel i5 which is a quad core running at 2.66ghz with an 8mb cache for $259. so if you are looking to upgrade i would surgest the core i3/i5 over one of the core 2 range because the cheapest core 2 is a dual core running at 3.06ghz with a 3mb cache for $179. the core i3 IS the cheaper option. i did two pccasegear builds only changing the motherboard, cpu, and ram, the core i3 came in at $884 ant the core 2 duo came in at $905.
