Supreme Commander 2

So what do people think about it?

I've been interested in seeing the new SupCom in action, but from what I've seen, it looks more like C&C: RA3. "Long range" is now pissing distance (from what I've seen), the unit models are absolutely HORRIBLE; they look more like bloody toys than actual Military units, which is incredibly sad.
They've removed SupCom1's economy system and replaced it with a more simpler, generic version. Hmm what else.. Ah yes it uses SteamWorks: in English, this means that you MUST have Steam installed and using it to play it since it uses Steam's "oh so awesome" Server Web Browser.*

Overall.. the gameplay looks like some form of improvement (other than the before-mentioned pissing distance for "long range"). Apparently it's been designed to run much better on older systems, so no more "We're playing SupCom, don't bother joining unless you've got a mid-range/high-end Core2" supposedly, at least. The units are basically.. uh.. stupid? The "Cybranosarus Rex, Dr. Brackman's "pet"" which breathes fucking fire.....* The colours on the units are too "fancy" instead of a more realistic approach, which ruins the atmosphere IMHO.

Yeah that's enough from me right now.

*Whether or not that's a good thing, depends on the person.
*No that is NOT awesome, it's moronic. (looking at you youngen's who still use LEDs all throughout their cases)

from watching the demo it looks like its still on the same scale as supcom1, tho i have to agree with sader and the unit colours they make them look a bit dodgy. But if the game play is like supcom1 there just may be some win in there
