So that's the definative list of the only games aloud to be played at the lan? ;).
Mmmm why isn't one of the CoD's a comp game btw?

And Rv62 means teams of 4. How are those teams chosen? What about balance?
I don't stop.

Well the Intranet system i use at lan can do full random or do it based on the amount of people you think you can kill (set in your profile in the system)

Because whenever we mention CoD4 half the bloody LAN throws their arms up and bitches like a bunch of whores, that's why there's to be no CoD4 comp. CoD2 on the other hand, I can live with. Maybe even CoD5, but I bet we'll have the same problem with that too.

Yeah and you know what... I couldn't really give a fuck what everyone else wants.

CoD is much fairer then R6v2. By far.

But if we play it instead of CoD, well, at least make sure the teams are completely random. No so called "pros" together and etc.

Well yeah.
Its not about what people want. If its a comp then they will play. No matter what the game.
And I personally think the game should be as close to fair as possible.
And considering the CoD4 we play at LANs is just aim, shoot, dead.. Repeat.. That's pretty dam fair.

R6v2 key to play online like decent people, $2.

why isn't one of the CoD's a comp game btw?
And Rv62 means teams of 4. How are those teams chosen? What about balance?

The main reason I'm going with R6v2 over CoD, is because CoD has been over played to fucking death. R6v2 is new and intuitive compared to the same old shit we've been playing for God-knows how long.
Also R6v2 does have simple deathmatch(FFA), which would have been the comp mode.

1) Yeah and you know what... I couldn't really give a fuck what everyone else wants.
2) CoD is much fairer then R6v2. By far.
3) But if we play it instead of CoD, well, at least make sure the teams are completely random. No so called "pros" together and etc.

1) If you don't care about what they think (as admin/mod, whatever), you get everyone playing different games and boredom which equals a fucking shit LAN.
2) By that you really mean, "CoD is for the children/idiots who can't figure out how to do anything more than "aim run around randomly firing from the hip > shoot > dead > repeat" and that most of the LAN is made up of said individuals" right?
3) Your logic is flawed here, it can't be completely 'random' if we have to much sure the only two people (Michael and me, could be more for all I know right now) who really play this are on opposite sides, huh? ;)

1) Its not about what people want. If its a comp then they will play. No matter what the game.
2) And considering the CoD4 we play at LANs is just aim, shoot, dead.. Repeat.. That's pretty dam fair.

1) Then it's settled then, R6v2 it is.
2) It's also been played to death as mentioned above, it's time for more than just "aim run around randomly firing from the hip, shoot, dead.. repeat..".

Should we not be allowed to drink alcohol because babies can't then? Cause that's what you're saying, wanting us to play a dumbed down FPS over something with a bit more intellect required simply because not everyone knows how to take cover and not run straight into a hail of bullets - they can fucking learn or be cannon fodder, either way I don't care.

Hahaha. I dunno man.. When everyone was doing their own thing in the hall at ovens we played some pretty sweet SoaSE. =P.

Well I've been playing it a fair amount. I quite like the game. Cept I keep getting lost amongst some of the controls haha.

I meant I don't give a fuck what people want, in the sense they can suck it up and play the game that the mod/admin has chosen for them to play. Otherwise fuck off, sit in the corner and watch your porn.

Have we tried ET quake wars? What about Section 8? Wolfenstein multiplayer?

There's plenty of games that everyone is knew at that we could play. I especially like the idea of playing Section 8 haha. Even if Ava doesn't approve. Still looks awesome.

Oh, what about red faction guerilla?

AND, as I always say, Starcraft should be the RTS. Noone has really tried it.. It is actually quite competitive.

Mm. Yes, most people at the LAN, with a few exceptions, mainly like just to have games thrown at them where they just run, shoot and die. As do the majority of the public. Its why they buy consoles, and why CoD6 is considered the "best" game of the year by many. (Pffft)

Ill be quite happy to play Section 8.
It'll be fun.. Changing things up.
And this is quite a bit different to anything we play at the LAN.

We should play HAWX.

Only time I've played it multi(Versus) was on a 400+ping server.. I might be willing to give it a try, but I recall it not being that great on keyboard... and naturally I haven't bothered to get a joystick since HAWX is the only game I've ever really played that uses it lol. Co-op with it is alright, though I don't believe it has any form of ingame communication which is kinda fucked (though you can't really type when you're flying around an F22 Raptor huh).
