PS3vs Xbox 360 vs PC

i know this is pointless but im trying to prove a point to a friend the PC can do anything a PS3 or Xbox can so he should by a PC

PS3/Xbox360 = dumbed down PC's. Logic dictates that a PC - a FULL PC, not a dumbed down one - is a shit ton better than those at everything they can do, and can also do a heap more.

Cost. And Consistant upgrades.

yes but a PC doesnt randomly overheat and die, or just die for no good reason(a la xbox360).
as for the PS3, its better than a 360 but lack of games and large price tag still make it infinatly worse than a decent PC.

we have had the Console VS PC debate so many times now, seriously, this is a forum for a LAN group, almost all of us are dedicated PC gamers, this is a primarily PC community.
so OFC we are gonna say buy a PC. pretty stupid post. im half tempted to lock this and future posts with anything to do with PC vs Console.
but im not going to cause stubbers or luke will yell at me
