School internet Fails Victoria WIDE

Shieldsy knows some shit... He just knows NOTHING about wireless. As far as MS servers go he knows alot. As far as network design go's, he does a pretty good job. As far as wifi goes... He fails miserably...

The reason isn't because it's the same channel, it's because the access points are not designed for the traffic they are getting. All Dlink personal ones. Not to mention the coverage is pretty mediocre...

They where going to go Cisco Airnet and that would have been a very good idea... But it looks like they changed their mine. Why are you using wireless anyway?

My school has VPN connection between the campuses and they run the net through the VPN to the cache/web filter/proxy at the other campus also the new system the have limits a student to 10mb then shapes or something like that but my whole campus is recognised as one student = epic fail buy the school
